Our first time and breakfast was delicious.
We were very lucky- there was no wait !! This place does get busy judging by the number of seats on the waiting area.
We had Cafe Country dish, the eggs and pancakes were great. The potatoes were very tasty.
We also tried the Vegetable omelet - awesome portion and the turkey bacon was delicious.
Our waitress was awesome !!
We will be back for breakfast and maybe try lunch !!!

Very interesting place! I love the building and how it’s decorated. I like how the menu explains a little bit of the history of the place. I was very impressed by the quality and taste of the food. I was given corn bread while I waited for my food and omg it was simply delicious. Warm and crunchy. The chicken was juicy and soft. The broccoli was good. The mashed potatoes was missing since flavor but still good.

I haven't been here in almost 20 years. My family invited me to come here today because they were in town. I just remember they had great cornbread that comes in the iron calf skillet. They still do.
They have a turkey and dressing special on Sundays. I went with that for my meal. My wife and I split it. The server was kind enough to put it on two separate plates. It was just enough for both of us. The turkey and dressing reminded me of Thanksgiving dinner.
My family seemed to enjoy their meals as well.
The decor is funky and has a lot of history to it.
My biggest letdown was the slow service. It took a while for the food to come out, but it did. It was that just a server was slow as hell. She took forever to take our order. She just wasn't around that often. It seems like all the other servers were visible in the dining area, but not our server.
Oh well, it was still a good experience overall and I'm glad I came.

Humble City Cafe was recommended to us by the staff at our hotel, and it did not disappoint! For our first visit, we were incredibly impressed. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere had such a cool, laid-back vibe. If you're in the area, this place is definitely worth checking out. We'll definitely be back!
